For in person consultation, we operate in NY (NYC, Westchester, Rockland Counties) and CT (Fairfield County). We are also available for virtual consultations outside of these areas. 

Fees depend on the scope and depth of the project based on the needs and degree of involvement requested by the client. 

We offer the following:

• Free initial pre-service consultation. We want you to be sure that we are a good match for you. 
• Thorough in-home client assessment with full report (starts at $500 depending on scope of project).
• Implementation of recommendations as appropriate (fee to be determined based on project)
• Consultation and training (fee to be determined based on frequency and duration of consultation and/or training).

As occupational therapists, we have experience working with people with a broad range of conditions and diagnoses including:

• orthopedic issues such as post surgical hip and knee surgeries.
• neurological conditions such as Parkinson's disease, dementia, MS, stroke, spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy, etc.
• sensory loss such as vision and hearing impairment.
• children and adults with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities- autism, Down syndrome, congenital abnormalities.

We use a strengths-based approach to maximize our client's abilities to navigate their home environments and carry out their daily routines. 

We can assess both your indoor and outdoor spaces, wherever you need more accessibility and independence. This could be your kitchen, bathroom, living room, or office space. It could be a child's bedroom or playroom. We can also help with outdoor spaces such as play areas and patios. 

While we do not have contractors, architects, and/or interior designers at Ideal Home Innovations Inc., we can absolutely collaborate with your design team on your renovation projects. With our clinical expertise and knowledge we can ensure that your design team fully understands your specific physical, cognitive, and/or sensory needs. We can guide them in designing your living spaces to promote your safety and independence in ways that go beyond incorporating basic ADA regulations. We work with your design team to recommend equipment that blends seamlessly with the décor of your home.
